Marketing in the Age of Information
A Group Consultation on Communicating Value with Osiris Indriya

We live in an age were we are overwhelmed with information. The internet and mobile computing have given us virtually infinite and instant access to the things we want to know more about. It has also increased opportunities to become the target of marketing. The word “marketing” has an increasingly negative connotation and we need to rethink what it means to communicate about our skills, products, and services.
This small group session is a discussion that incorporates the specific challenges of those who attend, and generates workable strategies for communicating value to the people who seek it.
The methods used in this session include:
- Understanding your audience
- Crafting a message
- Selling vs. Communicating Value
- Venues and vehicles appropriate for your particular message
- Understanding “Inbound” Marketing
- Social Networking… what it can do and what it can’t do for you
- Methods to measure progress toward specific goals
This session will model a process that will directly apply to your current business, or can be used for any project you may wish to embark on in the future. The focus of each session varies and the diversity of attendees increases the universal usefulness of the process.
